Dennis J. Cohen, Ph.D.
Dennis Cohen is a Senior Vice President at SMG. He also designs and leads programs, as well as consults, in the areas of Leadership, Team Building, Organizational Change, Strategy Implementation, Project Management, and the Implementation of Quality and Customer Focus.

Dr. Cohen contributed to SMG's Project Leadership Survival Guide and Understanding Project Management CD-ROM, designed SMG's Project Roadmap, and has written custom simulations for Hewlett-Packard and Xerox. He has contributed to the design of a number of computer-based simulations, including The Complete Project Manager.

In the area of Project Management, Dr. Cohen co-authored a chapter on the politics of project implementation in the book Project Management as if People Mattered, by Robert Graham. At the 1996 Project Management Institute Symposium, Dr. Cohen co-delivered a paper on the process of reconciliation in project initiating and planning processes. In addition, he has delivered project leadership sessions for a number of organizations, including Visa International, GTE, MCI, C&L, Schlumberger, AT&T, The World Bank, Chevron, Unisys, Mercer Consulting, Wharton Executive Education, Ernst & Young, American Express, and Sony.

Before coming to SMG, Dr. Cohen was a Research Associate at the Wharton School's Management and Behavioral Science Center, and a Senior Fellow with the Wharton Center for Applied Research. He has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management for the Wharton School, and was an instructor in the Wharton Effective Executive Education.

Dr. Cohen holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, and a M.A. and Ph.D. from The University of Wisconsin.
