Clark Callahan
Clark Callahan is a Senior Consultant in the International practice at Strategic Management Group, Inc. In this capacity, he works extensively with SMG's international clients and international affiliates. Mr. Callahan's areas of expertise include Marketing, Strategy, Project Leadership and Entrepreneurship.

Prior to SMG, Mr. Callahan was the Director of the Wharton Small Business Development Center, and a Lecturer in Entrepreneurial Management at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. The Wharton SBDC provides management consulting and training services to start up and emerging growth companies in southeastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Callahan has broad international training and consulting experience. He has provided training and consulting services to the senior Kazakstani managers of a U.S.-Kazakstan joint venture that produces circuit boards for microelectronics applications. In Ukraine, Mr. Callahan has delivered basic business training and consulting services to start up and early stage entrepreneurs in both Lviv and Donetsk. He worked with staff at the local universities (the Lviv Institute of Management and the Donetsk State Technical University) to help replicate the U.S. Small Business Development Center model of entrepreneurial support. He has worked in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia to develop and deliver entrepreneurial training to start up and early stage entrepreneurs, helping oblast and local administrations create sustainable economic development programs.

As a Lecturer at Wharton, Mr. Callahan taught Entrepreneurial Decision Making in the Entrepreneurial Management program. In 1996, he took on additional responsibilities for Wharton's curriculum in entrepreneurship, including managing adjunct faculty and curriculum planning. Prior to his assignments at Wharton, Mr. Callahan was with the CIGNA Corporation, a leading international insurance and financial services provider. He was responsible for acquisitions and divestitures on the Corporate Strategy staff, negotiating purchases and sales of small companies. Later he was based in New York City where he ran CIGNA's New York and New England premium finance marketing office.
