Paul C. Browne, DBA
Paul Browne is a Senior Consultant at Strategic Management Group, Inc., specializing in strategic management and issues associated with globalization. From 1984 to 1996 Dr. Browne collaborated with SMG as an outside consultant, having carried out consulting assignments and educational programs for many Fortune 500 companies including AT&T, Citibank, GTE, Honeywell, ITT, Motorola, Southern New England Telephone, and Union Carbide.

Previously Dr. Browne worked, for fifteen years, at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as Managing Director of the Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies, Associate Director of Wharton's MBA Program, and Director of the executive MBA program (WEMBA); and for seven years as a senior consultant at the Institute of Public Administration of New York. As an Adjunct Associate Professor of Management at the Wharton School, he has taught graduate courses in strategic planning, strategy implementation, business policy, global strategic management, and organizational behavior. Dr. Browne has also taught at Northeastern University, Harvard University, Bentley College, and the National University of Ethiopia.

Dr. Browne has done research in the areas of diversification strategies, strategic human resource management, and organization design and control systems. He has served as a consultant to various federal agencies in the U.S. and for the governments of Bolivia and Ecuador, as well as for organizations in Spain, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Thailand and Denmark.

Dr. Browne received a Masters in Public Affairs from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and a DBA from Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Administration.
